I really look forward to finding them all out. It was the first thing i did in Dungeon Master. Best game ever - for another 5 hours
Therefor i'll make a party with 4 mages.
I've alrdy made a list with all combinations with two and three runes (only 12 pages in word )
I hope there are not so many spells with 4 or even more runes ...
Greetings

2 runes = 36 combinations
3 runes = 84 combinations
What font did you use to fill 12 pages?
In Eye you needed to "scribe scrolls" for your mage to use them. Here I noticed it's the rune combo on the scroll that you use to "make magic".. does that mean that on your second playthrough you can use spells without having found the scroll ? Or is there still some form of "spell learning mechanic' tied to the scrolls ?
There are about 600 combinations with 9 runes for two and three runes used only. My mathematics are as rusty as my english, and i dont dare to estimate how much combinations you have with 4 runes ...
And you learn the spells only by casting them. But i think it makes no difference, if you know them or not. Just cast!

No, these 9*8 + 9*8*7 are permutations.
From what I have seen in youtube videos it does not depend on rune ordering while casting a spell. Hence combinations. (9 over 2) + (9 over 3) = 120

Hm, i think you are right. Puh, that makes my document a lot shorter. I used the system Dungeon master had, but i now think LoG is different from that.
