Very strange :oops: Are the missing stuff assets or level stuff (dungeon.lua)?

- I added aaneton.lua and my assets to mod_assets
- I draw the room walls in editor
- I copy pasted my room assets from my dungeon.lua to ORR2 dungeon.lua, using notepad++. I did not remove anything (at least intentionally) just added my lines for each level. So here something might have gone wrong but I tried to be extra careful.

I don't think the problem has been in editing, but I'm not at home so I can't check my files/folders right now (that might give extra insight or not). Also I did not encounter any errors during editing. However I did download almost all versions of the ORR2 before I got my room, so one explanation might be that I added my room into an older file of ORR2 or mixed up different version dungeon.lua somehow.

Whatever has happened, I'm sorry (and ashamed). I'm IT professional, handling data and not mixup/destory data is my dayjob... :?

Hi, I am definitely using version 1.3.7
all changes made are in folder drakkan_room and I have also add folder images, nothing else I am aware.
What are the differences (what is missing ?), can I help you somehow ?

Ah no need to be ashamed anyhow! With so much versions of the file flying around, it's a surprise we didn't mix something up earlier. I have notepad++ on compare and will isolate the places where I need to copy paste things back in, don't worry... :)

I've asked in here three times as to who has finished, but haven't received a response, so that's why it hasn't been updated. In light of the recent events (ie; multiple copies), I'll wait for Diarmuid to let me know who's finished, just so I'm not posting the wrong information.

Hey guys, by the way, I've finished remerging the two branches and I've passed the file to John Wordsworth so that he can plug his wonderful quickbar in, check things and give it then to SpiderFighter.

The beginning of the list in the OP should look like that:

Room 1: (Empty!)
Room 2: SpiderFighter - Working on Room
Room 3: JohnWordsworth - Finished!
Room 4: mahric - Finished!
Room 5: Drakkan - Finished!
Room 6: Billick - Finished!
Room 7: Ancylus - Finished!
Room 8: Neikun
Room 9: aaneton - Finished!
Room 10: Ryeath_Greystalk - Finished!
Room 11: Ciccipicci
Room 12: Krazzikk
Room 13: Marble Mouth
Room 14: The cube - Finished!

There's only a few gui issues and spelling/grammar things to figure out eventually with Drakkan's room. I'll be abe to do it while others work on their rooms and merge it back later.

Thanks for the update Diarmuid.

I've made the suggested changes to mine and Elizabeth's rooms (illuminate the selected dragon and made Elizabeth's room a snail farm after completion). Just need to plug those in sometime before release.

edit: Also would like to slightly modify the control scheme after recieving feedback from play testers off my mod.

Hate to be the bearer of bad news, but I was just trying to add the QuickBar and fix my room in the latest ORRR2 file and the dungeon.lua script appears to be pretty messed up. I guess it could have become corrupt somewhere along the way, but it looks more likely that a merge operation between 2 dungeon.lua files may be the cause.

Issues and fixes I have applied so far...

1. Some script entities have blank lines that are not terminated by '\' characters -> I added these by hand.
2. Some spawn commands now read 'pawn' -> I added the s's.
3. One of the mapDesc's had an extra row, which meant it could no load -> I found which one was the wrong length using REGEX and deleted a random column.
4. File now opens, but there are a large number of spawned entities with duplicate IDs. I changed a bunch, but have now found important ones (secrets) that, if I change them, scripts referring to them might now refer to the wrong one.

The good news is, I think this is only from the latest room that was added. If I go to the 'Pre-Drakkan' room, then it seems to work fine. It might be safest and easiest if we just add your (Drakkan's) room again if that's okay with you?

If any of you are working on your own room in your own dungeon file, I would strongly recommend naming everything with a prefix (everything, including that random rock, torch holder or tar bell) so that the IDs are all myroom_rock etc. This should make copying and pasting the dungeon.lua file work without any naming conflicts.

Hi John, bad to hear that, hope it is not caused by dialogues my room is using. I renamed all object somehow when editing, so no duplicity should be there... if it is possible to copy the room somehow into new version it will be fine as there is lots of text which I really do not want to re-write again :)
