First of all I want to say thank you to the developers for such a good game. It really is wonderful. I admired the opening screen, the first room, the first monster. Almost everything in this game is gorgeous.
Unfortunately, I got a pirated copy, but I'm so excited about this game, that'll buy it very soon. It is true. The second part will be even better. It will fix all the flaws of the first.
Regarding my question.
I started playing at the Hard with Old School option. All was well, the puzzles were moderately difficult. Forced to think of it, but still resolved (some optional I still could not decide). However, after reaching level 8, I ran into a problem. At the very beginning of the level I was unable to open any of the iron grating. I saw sparks behind them, but could do nothing. Then I found the secret button, but it only opened the secret door. It did not help me.
Frustrated, I went to level 9.
Killed the monster, got a golden key, got a different scrolls with clues, but could not do anything with Chekered Rum.
It was horrible. All previous puzzle solved anyway.
