Mod campaigns start me out with no items

Is that a feature of all mod campaigns or is that something the modder chose to have in the game? Are there any awesome campaigns that let me start with all my loot?

Loot does never transfer between mods. If a mod let's you have any starting gear it was granted to your party by the mod maker.
