[Eleven Warrior]

Well today (LOL) I went to my Steam Acc.. I checked the forum Grimrock etc.. I found someone called the game(Grimrock legends of Lame)...

I have to say the Blog was old (July) but updated in the last couple of days from other people...It makes me think a bit when people complain about things..

1 - To program a Engine is a feat in its self..
2- I Don't complain about games anymore---WHY because I have learnt that Coding is not as easy as it is..
3 - To make the graphics and sounds to go with the game... Well I have looked at the 3D and 2D how to do tutorials and lol (to hard basket)..
4 - I belive that Almost human have done a wonderful job at most of it..
5 - I wish I had the above abilities..Man the things I could do..
6 - The Editor has been the best thing since Sliced Bread (my Opinion)..The things I can do mow awesome...
7 - UMMMM I carry on to much.. But if you put this game down.. I say do better yourself.....

Yeah the thread title there is a bit misleading. The guy who made it was in fact complaining about the puzzle use. He compared LoG to some of the very very first 3D dungeon game attempts ever i.e. Akalabeth which simply could not have such puzzles. Back in the early 80's home computers could not handle more than those games delivered and people were glad with any game they could get hands on to play so exploring a basic 3D area, collecting stuff and fighting monsters did indeed satisfy. Then systems and games did change and develop and that guy obviously missed even those early developments.
