Re: Notch Tweeted about Grimrock?!?
IIRC Notch also got to playtest the game.
Wouldn't be surprised if he gives another tweet once it gets out.

Now that I didn't know. Guess it pays to be a multi-millionaire indie game producer, huh?
Or multi-millionaire anything for that matter.

Re: Notch Tweeted about Grimrock?!?
Notch has kindly tweeted of the game a few times and given our server a good beating in the process
And yes, we gave him a build to try out too: https://twitter.com/#!/notch/status/149388331589963776

He also mentioned it in his blog awhile ago, which is how I initially found out about Grimrock.

Well, especially in multiplayer Minecraft occasionally gets that dungeon crawler feeling: Having to navigate trough endless corridors dug by other people, having no clue what you will eventually encounter. Player lairs, mobspawners, player-made traps and contraptions, big pools of lava, diamond (yay). I can see where dungeon crawler fans and minecraft fans overlap

Re: Notch Tweeted about Grimrock?!?
Not a fan of Minecraft personally, but I think it's pretty cool that the guy is using his popularity to promote and raise awareness of other indie games.
Re: Notch Tweeted about Grimrock?!?
Yeah, he's a good chap and also seems to be genuinely nice guy
I think quite a few indie studios have been born because of Notch.
