Why I'm excited about Grimrock 2

Hey everyone,
I still haven't beat GRIMROCK yet, but I intend to do so before the sequel comes up. It's a great game, takes me back to my kids day, confronting me with memories of games I played and loved then (and never finished). Naturally I'm playing oldschool, my sense of orientation is quite good, so up until now (struggling with all those spiders a bit, right now) there wasn't any need to draw my own map.
Then I stumbled upon the first info about GRIMROCK 2, saw those beautiful overworld screenshots, and it all reminded me very much of the ISHAR-series. I played all three of them when I was young, and couldn't finish a single one of them. Still, I loved those games, I have many fond memories about them and they brought me more than one sleepless night. Now, when I heard about GRIMROCK 2, it seemed like Fate has granted me a second chance to master the challenge, only this time with improved mechanics, balancing and graphics.
Keep up the good work, can't wait to experience the finished product.

We are all stoked about Grimrock 2; for the open air locations, new campaign, and the new system & scripting possibilities it will offer. I think it's going to be fantastic.

I'm excited for Grimrock 2. Grimrock was awesome, and the sequel promises to be better.
I look forward to the improved modding capabilities quite a bit.

I wish lot would be quiet. The more excited they know you are the longer they will make you wait for the game. They are not called Almost human for nothing you know?
