What if Farmers could grow food?
Works similar to the alchemist, random grown foods will appear in their inventory determined by the number of steps taken.

Farmers are a challenge class, it's really not supposed to have any special abilities.
While an interesting idea, you could just have a party of Farmers and some food in your inventory and walk in circles and endlessly gain experience. Doesn't sound like something that should be possible.

I don't doubt that we will see this in a mod (or many) at some point!

There are a lot of fish to catch in the waters which act as food. I skimped on eating for a while and now I have too much food. I stashed the extra food someplace safe.
