Meditation Spire (and Skyway)

Hey guys,

Need help getting onto the skyway in this dungeon (the one with the meditation spire sign on the left as soon as you enter).

Ive killed the ice wraith knight thing and got the round key but cant find a way up to the second floor where the skyway is.

I am assuming its some sort of interaction with the floor tiles that have fire underneath them and a grate on top.
