How to fall through that floor that only opens when a teleporter is above it?

Lay an item on the trapdoor BEFORE you activate the teleporter. It falls down on a pressure plate.

I had just solved by going down with rope, even if teleporter is there, you go down.

But i think that should not be the "right" solution. Looks more like a bug. ;)
