Crystal Mines Entrance Secrets

I've cleared out everything in the Crystal Mines, except these two things in the Entrance area.

I can hear the sounds of fire elementals coming from the question mark in the upper left. And I can see a passageway by the question mark in the lower right of the map. I found the secret near "Only the Fearless May Pass" by seeing a similar passageway on the map and then looking for a nearby button, but I haven't found anything for this one.

Any hints/clues or even outright solutions to finding these two areas?

Don't know about the second one, might be nothing, looking now, hope it is the one I am missing.
edit: the second one is just a wall.
