Stuck on level 2 -- can't find level 3

Stuck on level 2 -- can't find level 3

I've solved all of the puzzles on this level, found the two keys to open the iron gate near the crystal, and there are no more monsters to kill but I can't find any way to get to level 3!

What am I missing?
