Right in the first Room in the first secret...theres a shuriken on the ground but i cant pick it up because the character screens are covering the place where the shuriken is on the ground. How am i supposed to pick it up? Turning didn't help.
Picking up items can sometimes be a little hard in non-widescreen resolutions because the screen covers a smaller field of vision with 4:3 aspect ratio. Just tried to pick up the Shuriken in 1024x768 in that spot you mentioned and I agree it's a little tedious but it can be done: click the Shuriken near the left edge of the item. We'll try to widen the field of vision or improve this in some other way in the next patch.
btw. what resolution are you running the game at (the resolution is shown in Options)?'
I had the same problem at the start and again at the demand a sacrifice puzzle. I played with it a minute and had zero luck picking up the same item in a different place.
I changed the resoultion from 1024x768 to up one notch and while it gave the screen a kind of fish eye effect it let me pick it up just fine.
