Game is forcing stereo 3d / red-blue imaging. Screenshot inc

The first game menu displays in what looks like stereo 3d, red / blue images of the same things slightly apart.
It looks horrid.
I have tried changing all kinds of settings in the desktop video card driver / the game, to no effect.

NO other game has ever done this to me, and I play a crap ton of games.

I am on windows 8.1 64bit
AMD eight core 8350 4ghz
32GB ram.
Geforce 660 ti
with a singal asus 29inch wide monitor at 2560X1080 resolution

If I try to screencap it in full screen it comes out as just a black screen. So I changed it to windowed mode and took a screen cap to show you guys.

Well I fixed it, I am embarrassed to say that my nvidia drivers were not updating automatically like they should of been.
A new driver fixed the issue.

He, thanks for your report and good that you was capable of fixing it.
Infact, your are not the first one reporting this, the engine seems to be part of the problem too by sometimes doing misdetection: viewtopic.php?f=12&t=4649

You are right it is 3d mode, but triggered by a misdetection of the engine, I guess (multimonitor setup? exotic screen resolutions?).
