saving...to much ?

Post by gonnarule »

Btw how often are you saving ?
Yesterday I started the game, normal/old school, and was quite surprised not to save that much, auto-save doing the stuff for me. Btw, being afraid of dying is part of the game, and dying shouldn't be an issue forcing loading as you have resurrection stones.

So... are you guys saving every few seconds ? Or don't even think about it ? I was thinking about saving only at each level start, and (of course) when leaving the game. So if I loose some members, up to me to find the damn resurrection stone, or to go back (with my nice map) and res up there. But no save-load frenzy...

What about you ?

Can we disable auto-save btw ?

I save ALL THE TIME, this game is hard and I like to keep an up to date save!

It's why a Quick Save is the update of choice for me. :)

I like to be kept on my toes, so I only save in the blue crystals.

I do dislike replaying the same part of the game over and over, causes to much frustration!

I also just use crystal/autosave. The first time I find one, I make a manual 'security save', but from then on I always return to them, when I feel a save would be good - till I've found the next.
Hard/Old School (+ Disabled Damage Text/ Hidden Item Properties) and no map-drawing by hand.
