A fellow Wizardry fan? I loved them all and still actually play them from time to time, nice to see someone else that remembers the series.

I only ever play the last Wizardry, but that was excellent and I sunk many hours into it, including all sorts of mods, people still still mod it to this day you know.

This isn't like Wizardry at all. Wizardry has random encounters and turn based combat. Etrian Odyssey, Class of Heroes and Dark Spire are like Wizardry, as far as recent games go.
This is more like Dungeon Master, Eye of the Beholder and Lands of Lore. Nothing like Wizardry at all other than the first person perspective.
