Is it possible to get monsters to open doors?

Hi Everyone,

I downloaded the dragons pack and I can see that they have the ability to open doors. I wanted to ask how its possible to have a monster open a door as it would be useful in my mod. Is it based on brain or is there an option? I checked the dragon monsters lua file but could not see it in there.

AFAIK in LoG1 monsters don't have the ability to interact with things like doors (at least by default)

What makes you think, the drangons have that ability?

Goromorgs in Grimrock 1 can open doors. I believe it's a property of the "Goromorg" brain and not something you can change by other means.

Thanks for the replies on this. The dragons can open doors, and they have the Goromorg brain so I will try that and see if it works. Thanks for this

I have always assumed this was done for the same shock and surprise found in Eye of the Beholder 2... where the main boss bad-guy was [after he did it in front of you]... was unexpected found to be able to DESTROY doors. It was quite a shock at the time too.
