No Sound When Party Is Disabled / Dismissed?

Post by fazzasx »

Hi Everyone,

I wanted to find out if anyone else had this problem?

Basically when you dismiss your party and wish to recruit new members, the sound effects for opening and closing doors are not there but you can hear yourself walking.

Has anyone else has this problem and knows how to get around it? I am thinking I could link a sound effect to the door when its opened, but once you recruit someone the sound comes back again for opening and closing doors.

I hope someone else has experienced this and can provide some useful insight because I am lost. But lovin it!!

Best - fazzasx :)

I don't think this is a bug. I have only seen this happen when all four of my party members were dead (in the editor).
This happens when all party members are incapacitated; and that should mean death and Game Over in regular play.

It may be a quirk of the engine that the mods have triggered inadvertently. I know that in the editor, the only ways to get the sounds back is to heal/revive the party, or stop and restart the preview.

Thanks Isaac,

I will leave it as is then in that case.
