stairs to go up one elevation?

I wonder if someone ever tried to combine the behaviour of stairs with the functionallity of a ladder.

Don't know if it's possible but wouldn't it be fine to have stairs that bring you not in the level above but in the elevation above?

My moddeling-/scripting-skills are not good enough but is someone else interested?

This question has already a solution in a precedent thread. If you want to move from one elevation to another, without the fade unavoidable if you use stairs, give a look to this: http://www.nexusmods.com/legendofgrimrock2/mods/10/?
I use it and it's works, with some side effects (the camera don't move accordingly, so it seems what you move throught the stairs, and when you go down, it's looks like a jump)
I think that Azel'solution is about the same plus spiral movment.
