however...ironically, when i'm not using the "gimmick party" and just playing the game normally, my preferred party setup is very similar like minmays...some some differences.
my 2 frontliners are both ratling barbarians with light weapons
my back row is 2 lizardmn alchemists with endurance and resistance so they both start off with 50% to all resistances. This is because 90% of the time, the back row is only going to be hit by aoe attacks. and the endurance is for the extra 15kg of carry weight since I like to hoard items.
back row left I do heavy weapons /alchemy
the other one is my spellcaster, and yeah most spells are junk, but I pretty much put all my points into the elements. I do air 1 and fire 1 and concentration 3 as soon as possible, then i put 3 on each element for the shield spells and if theres enough xp to be had, then i go for meteor swarm
the only difficulty is at the start of a mod, my alchemist spellcaster can't cast spells without a staff and many modders don't put a staff in their mod early on..
