Clearly OP is someone who lack of education. The english they use has some influence from medieval era, Elizabethan era, or even Shakespeare..to match the era where LOG's lore take place. If the game uses modern english or "perfect english"...well that would just be weird.

Soo.. you're in a dungeon, fighting for your life, and for some odd reason decide to write notes that you leave behind for other prisoners to find.. better make sure your grammar is spot-on, or someone might be offended. =)

Nor would I enjoy,

But the more artsy, and as stated above, Shakespearian style of writing is very fitting - and this style of writing ALLOWS for a few mistakes, they are not noticeable, and even when they are, you can skim over them as "Shakespearian",

Unless of course your a time travel, and infact have a masters in "Shakespearian" style writing FROM "Shakespearian" times.

EDIT - Although thinking about it an, Old school, Hard Mode, Solo play, TEXT SPEAK MODE !!, would certainly add some flare for those fearless players
