According to the Hooked Gamers review "Playing without any map, however, is nearly impossible"
Daniel.
Just as an aside those aren't "remakes" they are original games made in Japan with the Wizardry name. In fact Wizardry as a brand is now owned by the japanese company that makes those games. Honestly dungeon crawlers are not a dead genre at all, it is just that only the Japanese (with a few exceptions *winks at almost human*) make them anymore. Many of them never make it over to the west though.Arctor wrote:I've lost hundreds of hours playing the Wizardry remakes on PS3, and there was just something I loved about the idea of first having to discover fragments of the map for the dungeon, and then of course, needing someone in the party who could cast the spell to view the map. I remember thinking "If only I'd had this in Dungeon Master."
