Nice work.
I would try my self as I draw a bit but I'm not sure about how to do from the black and white drawing to the finished portrait xD
How do you color the portrait ?

There is a good tutorial about how to colour portraits (made for The Battle for Wesnoth) at

I use photoshop and electronic pen and tablet made by wacom called the "bamboo fun." I did a review of it on youtube which also shows some of the drawing process:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2sanQU604H4
For these LoG portraits I just draw with a one pixel wide line in black then on a layer beneath that I lay out the colors. For the skin I put down a base color over the whole skin area then go back and choose lighter and darker tones of that color to paint out the shadows and highlights.
I also do the hair, clothes, and other details on seperate layers so I can adjust their colors individualy after I am done, and to keep from messing up other sections.
I studied graphic design and art in university for 4 years but I'm still not as good as Juho or a professional artist - so if you just draw as a hobby it will take time to learn how to blend colors and imagine the three dimensionality of the faces you are trying to render.
That's all the advice I can manage - hope that helps!

I am aiming to get about 10 more done. It's fun to spend some time drawing these then going in to play the game. I will have a lot of choices for new parties when the level editor is out!
Thanks, hope you guys can use them!

Two new additions. These are just edits of the others - kind of a palette swap with some details changed around.
