The desktop "shortcut" is created by Steam client so I don't think there is anything we can do about it.

Here we go!

Activation and installation was fine. I've played it through 30 minutes and I didn't find any problems. It seems to run fine under different configurations: shadow and texture quality, etc.

This computer is a mid-2010's 13" MacBook Pro. I'll do more tests on both my MBP and my iMac and I will post the feedback asap.

Certainly. Files are there with lengths that seem proper. I'll calculate MD5 checksums on them to double-check that they are the same as on Windows box.

Are there more activation keys for beta testing?

I´m on a 10.8.2 system and also got a 10.6.0

Update regarding custom dungeons. Some of them are working after all (all versions from steam), but some are crashing. Here are the mods I have installed:
Working:
- Hypercube
- Hodrans Orb
- Pyramid of Xafi
- The Reeking Depths
- Stronghold of Ironstone

Crash to desktop:
- Eye of the Beholder: Waterdeep sewers
- Wine Merchant's Basement
- Tomb of Zarthos
- Shadow of Grim Moon

Maybe they aren't actually fully downloaded yet? Could just be a bug with cross version download tracking, and the working ones finally got downloaded all the way?

but I guess if the file sizes are there then that must not be the issue ...

Yessssssssssssss I LOVE legend of grimrock. I am so psyched to test this. I dualbooted windows for it but now it is on the mac yesssss.
