The 123 portion is rather geeky I admit. Do 1-2-3 in binary. There is an item you find in the room to help with the ABC portion.

Next to each alcove you will find a bed/altar. You need to rotate the contents of each alcove (I won't say which direction) but instead of placing them in the alcove, place them on the bed.

That is the prison key. You should have found a note about the warden being in the catacombs. Look at the alcoves the note mentions and something shiny should (hopefully) appear. This is also related to the note about keys being found both high and low.

Yes, you will have extra keys at the end of the level. I didn't know exactly how people were going to go through the doors. You won't find a need for iron or copper keys throughout the rest of the game, but I would recommend holding on to them for other reasons!

About the 1,2,3 riddle, can you tell us what we need to do, because 1, 2, 3 in binary I see what it is but do we need to push the button each time to validate or does it reinitialize the whole thing. I can't make it work !

You set the number with the switches L & R, then press the button. Repeat for each digit. 1 is down, 0 is up, LSB is rightmost. So the sequence is (reading left to right) U - D (press), D - U (press) , D - D (press)
But that's just part of the secret.. Then there's

the inner doors that you have to open by putting a treasure on the altar for each door. I only obtained two (the cup and the statue) so I never got the last one open. I'm at the riddle level now, not sure if I can get back up there to do it if I find another treasure.

You're right about the 1, 2, 3 puzzle. In my opinion, a really hard puzzle. Now, on the room behind the door...

The modder mentioned about a item that we would find inside and that item would help, am I right? The only thing there in a flame arrow.
I noticed that put it to the altar make a "click" but nothing else happens. Makes sense, cause the puzzle says A, B, C and an arrow starts with "a". Have to check my inventory to see other stuff that starts with B and so on. I noticed, tough, that the skull can open the west room and the golden chalice opens the north room. Both have buttons to press, but so far all that they do is unlock the door you're came from. Nothing more happens after some trials, and you get a scroll telling that you're not wise. So, let me see if I find the right itens to put there.

About the rooms with 12 plates on the 1st floor tried what I think is all possible combinations and nothing happens there. Need more clues!

Ok, got it. Here's the solution for the ABC part:

First, you have to put an arrow on the altar and you'll hear a click. It can be the acid arrow, if you find it, or the fire arrow that lies on the ground of this room. Second, you'll have to put a blooddrop blossom, then you hear the second click; And finally a cave neetle, and the third click. It opens the room to the east where you get a book of infinite wisdom. After that, I could not open the other two rooms, but there's nothing that really matters. Skeleton patrols on the west and two of that little green creatures that shoots poison on the north room.

Well done! Actually, it is a bit more flexible than you describe...

It can actually be any thing A B or C that you might come across. So a is Arrow or Axe, B can be Boots, Bombs, Box, Bow ... etc.
But... do you think it was too much of a guess? Should I leave another clue? A is for Arrow, for example?

You don't need any treasures to complete this puzzle. You may use them, but they aren't restricted to them.

There is actually a third secret in the 123 ABC puzzle. I think I need to rephrase one of the wall texts you have come across to:

The altar room contains double the riches only for the wise and the patient.

Anyway, another tip. With the exception of the first two floors and one thing you need to do just before the final battle (just to make it easier), each level is complete onto itself. You won't need to go backwards unless it is to heal up, or possibly to retrieve an item you dropped that I wasn't expecting. In that case I'd like to hear about it so I can make suitable adjustments. I hate backtracking myself so I don't want to make others to do it either.

I'm stuck in riddle level prison area. I have both pages indicating something where there's six positions, etc. I've tried combination after combination of these levers. It's just not really clear what/how I'm supposed to do this part.

The riddles were great! I remembered a few of them from BaK and a few had me stumped for a while:

No big deal though, anyone who's played this game for a while knows to put all their old crap inventory in a pile, in a place that's easy to get to.

"not be greedy" and/or "not steal the gods gifts" in order for the trapdoor to stop at limbo? Mine went straight to the bottom. That was a bitch to get past.
