I like to break stuff, can I? Please?

If i have a choice I'd love to start with a low level party (like 5 or so?).

Komag, just want to say: Love your mod so far. It feels just like the original game + Improved Addon pack of it

Edit: You really should release the sources (since there is no source release of the original game), so others can learn from your functions and how you realized "things"

I agree, here's the plan:

Release 2 mods at the same time:
1. Legend of Grimrock - Remade, an exact replica of the original dungeon, released with its sources
2. Legend of Grimrock - Master Quest, a highly altered version of the original dungeon, released with its sources

BTW, how far are you along? Any questions for PM?

Actually I am at LV6 and only missing 1 secret in LV2 or 3 (I will return there if it is not intended by your mod to comeback later via another stairsup from levels below) and 1 secret in LV5 (also will comeback).
Love the quests you made and hadnt much problems to solve them, I will move on ether tonight or maybe tomorrow since I have to install first my new system (and all my software). Yesterday I get a new PC and have to reinstall all things, so it will consume little time, but I will continue with your mod once I managed to find my way on the new system

Edit: But I write a detailed test-diary as you know, so my experience with your mod get not lost.

There is not any other way up to levels 2 and 3. Level 5 does still have the small section from 6, but I've counted that secret as part of level 6. :)

I cannot WAIT for this! Here's how much this means to me: I got the original "Master Quest" as a pre-order from Electronics Boutique with Windwaker for the Gamecube. :D

Komag, as much as I really love a lot of the other mods that have been popping up lately, this one is already in a class all its own, without having even played it. Well done, Sir. The scaling XP is absolutely brilliant.

Thanks for the kind words! But I have to say, the scaling XP (and scaling all the other stuff) was absolutely a huge headache! :x

There are so many considerations to it that are hard to think of until they crop up in play-testing, I had to keep going back and adding a new system here, a new chart there, scale up the spawned elemental bolts, scale up the charged weapons, scale up the quake effects, scale up the potions, scale scale scale!!! Every spawned monster in the entire dungeon had to be reworked to properly spawn according to the scaling, some of the new tomes adjust their effects based on scaling, the list goes on and on. Man I hope it's done!

With some beta tester slots still open why wait? :D
Grab a party that finished the original LoG dungeon (it should be around level 12 to 14) and then be in for a hell of a ride!
I could tell you STUFF but won't  It's ment to be experienced yourself
Just that much: if AH ever thinks about adding a "New Game Plus" mode to LoG this is it.
