Do you happen to know if you can change the difficulty setting afterwards? Be it via console command or cfg/ini/savegame editing?
It was not a problem with the difficulty setting. It's correctly set in the savegame. I discovered that Hard was actually not Hard before v2.1.4 so it got fixed and even beefed. In case Geru updated in the meantime he'll notice the difference
