On the rooftop you do not fight the islandmaster but the lindworm...!psilon2020 wrote:First you chase the island master up his Castle Nex to the highest tower and do battle amongst four towers while overlooking the surrounding island? If that is not enough after that fight you enter the lair of the trickster and find that the Island master was still alive
I know its almost like hes "testing" you to a high standard not just trying to outright murder you....what a CRAZY idearumpelstilskin wrote:i think his shields were the weakest part conceptually. you just have to rely on him 'forgetting' to restore them, which apparently he can do at any moment at no cost
well, yeah, it makes sense story-wise, and i can see how the devs wanted the players to be proactive and attack in that fight instead of holding back and sniping/counter-attacking as usual, but i just hate it when i'm forced to do thatKarinas23 wrote:I know its almost like hes "testing" you to a high standard not just trying to outright murder you....what a CRAZY idearumpelstilskin wrote:i think his shields were the weakest part conceptually. you just have to rely on him 'forgetting' to restore them, which apparently he can do at any moment at no cost
Why not? you just need 1 person to walk up to him and wail on him. He isn't that hard... I don't understand people complaining about him being so hard, Water Elementals were more challanging to fight than he was. Here is the trick to fighting him: You go up to him... And you hit him... .... .... And that's it! Takes less than 30-60 seconds and he's dead. Game over, you win.rumpelstilskin wrote:well, yeah, it makes sense story-wise, and i can see how the devs wanted the players to be proactive and attack in that fight instead of holding back and sniping/counter-attacking as usual, but i just hate it when i'm forced to do that
that's until he pushes you into a spike pit. it doesn't even have to be a pit - he can just push you away, which also stuns you temporarily, leaving you open to the attack of the clones (tm), letting him to restore the shield.. basically, if he pushes you, you are mostly screwed. you can obviously avoid that if you are quick enough, but that fight really emphasizes the twitch side of the combat system, which i find the most annoying thing about the game.Jirodyne wrote:Why not? you just need 1 person to walk up to him and wail on him.
