There's a place for me ?

Originally we tried for 36 hours, but that was only one room. I wanted to wait and see what an average time would be, but we can certainly throw that out to see what people think would be reasonable. I'm going to try to touch base with him this morning.aaneton wrote:Should we have somekind of timelimit for each level designer?
It has been quite long at lvl1.
I'm going to lay the bones out for my room, but I'm going to wait for the scripting until I can execute it properly. It shouldn't take too long, in other words, as the physical assets are all ready to go.JohnWordsworth wrote:I think it would be nice if we could say 'try to turn your room around in 2 days'. I don't think there is a need for a formal deadline, just a guideline. If it takes longer, we could always just suggest that we skip that person for now and come back to them later (we don't need to build this is order - we can just drop the keys in the empty rooms for now).
I could probably do my room in 1-2 days, as I have it already 99% done in my own template (just impatiently waiting for my turn to put into the real file)JohnWordsworth wrote:I think it would be nice if we could say 'try to turn your room around in 2 days'. Anyway it has been a lvl1 for almost 2(?) weeks, I think we should move on or something...
The only things is that I hate for him to have done all that (potential) work, only to find we've moved on without initially setting a deadline. Unfortunately, he last logged in the day before we caught on and I sent him the PM:Diarmuid wrote:Hi, if we don't have any news from the first modder, I think it's time to move on and he'lle be able to add his room later if needed...
But, I suppose you're right. He certainly should have dropped one of us a line by now.Last visited: Sun Apr 07, 2013 9:21 am
