Just an idea, changing the contrast and the luminosity of the specular map might make it less rock like and more metal like.

And there's where I'm at a personal conflict. Do I want gold metal walls, or golden stone walls.
I think I like gold stone walls better.

Made a mossless temple floor while working on it for the Gold Halls.
Thought I'd share if anyone's interested.

Floor primary:
Should it be whiter?
Improvement noticed when switching spec to marble.

Moving forward, the first gold decal floor.
I've already had a better idea.
Here's the better idea:

Now to make it more tunnel-looking.
I'm actually really excited by this project. I think I'll work on packing it up for release.

The more I fiddle with other textures, the more I prefer the brick_wall01
This takes up quite a bit of space to implement as is.
It takes up a six square corridor (+2 more squares for entrance and exit) Then if you don't want pillars inside of it, you have to expand the inside to a 3x6 shape with some sort of blockage in each of the extra squares.
Then, if you do that, in order to have an entrance that is wider than 1 square, you must add secret doors and pillars around the opening.
Yeesh. Take a look:
Also, I would love a higher res version of the circlet_war material.
See how much better it looks even just by doubling it's size?
Finally, at 1024x1024, it no longer has any clipping.

More work on adapting the circlet_war material.
So far I have made it into a 1024x1024 tile and created a normal map for it.
Next I have to remove the parts of the texture that represent how it wraps around the head.
..I really suck at normals.
I seriously, really have no idea what I'm doing.
