You get this error when you run Survive in LoG 2.
Survive is a LoG 1 mod.

But actually there was really something wrong with the Version. I corrected the Bug and the Version I uploaded just now runs without errors!

lol, whoops. Here I was thinking I was being super thorough in my handling of everything. xD Thankfully I do have Grimrock 1, even though it's been a while. Hopefully I remember the right kinds of builds! Thanks for explaining all that!

Use an image hosting service; many are free. If you have a Google account, you have access to Google Drive; Dropbox.com is another option.
https://imgur.com is popular; https//photobucket.com is another one.
In most cases, the service will allow you a direct link to the file, and that can be used as the image source link in the IMG tag.

I know how to upload images and using them but it didnt work here. Just shows a broken image.

See the source of my post; itself showing an embedded image.
The format of the links may differ from service to service, but if the link evaluates to the image file, then it should work in the image tag, as shown above.
*In the case of Dropbox, the standard link they give is not a direct access download unless you change the d=0 parameter to d=1, or use the alternative usercontent link seen in my post above.
You might try the Imgur service first, as it's more intuitive to use—and intended for image hosting.
Using Dropbox, or Google (I assume) will presumably invalidate the image links if you delete your account with them. But on the flip side, with them you can update the image without updating the links.

I clicked on the first picture's link that you posted, then scrolled down to where I found a list of links that you can use. The HTML one has the web address and name of the .jpg image.
