I've found the scribe's challenge and have a question

English is not my first language and I have trouble with the clues. I can see some but I don't understand "adventurer's guide" or "humble guise"

It's just there for effect, leads up to the main part of the college of shadowmere, I put it in just as a way to explain how the party got down there
This should help in the secret search ignore it if you'd rather find them yourself, its a list of how many secrets are on each floor

Lvl 1: 3 secrets + Beast Chamber
Lvl 2: 7 secrets + Treasury
Lvl 3: 4 secrets + Champions run
Lvl 4: 4 secrets + Scribes challenge + Restricted Section
Lvl 5: 3 secrets + Artificers Trial + Elementalists Ritual
Lvl 6: 4 secrets + Champions hall + Lovers gift
Lvl 10: 1 secret

Are you counting the "major Secrets" they involve a little more work than the others (each has several steps), so I put them on seperate list, Ones like the beast chamber

I wasn't differentiating between levels of difficulty or type of secret. I just assumed the numbers would add up to the same number in the game when the player looks at the statistics screen.

Oh ok, it adds up for me

3 secrets on the first floor plus the beast chamber= 4 secrets
7 secrets + the treasury = eight secrets
etc.

It also counts the ones with names, to give a total of 35

I probably should of made it clearer, its easy to see how you got mixed up
