I'm afraid not yet, sorry... Do you remember, I asked you to build version 1.5? At first I want to go this way in the same way as before, but without the critical bug that we talked about on the forum. I will definitely play in version 2.3! I really hope, after the computer upgrade planned for me!..

I have reloaded the picture, look now. :)

The image is now displayed, it's ok, but I don't understand what is shown on it...
One thing however: are you playing on low resolution?

I've highlighted the shadow of the Ratling Boss in red color. If I correctly remember the game, Ratling Boss himself is in the house until an alarm is raised. Right? I was surprised by his shadow in the water. How can this be?..

Yes. I'm not comfortable playing in a wide format, so I choose 1152x864. But what does it matter? Do you want to say that the shadows from the Ratling Boss at high resolution and under the conditions described above are not there?..

The shadow of the ratling boss... a good title for a mod
I don't know why it's here!! Perhaps it's a trick of the heightmap :?:
FOr the resolution, it's up to you (no link with the shadow) but the image is better in hight resolution.

Hello Duncan,
i've had a few goes at your mod, which is astounding in its detail and complexity. I have been stopped in many places, but will ask about only one here. Under the waste, I am unable to solve the lever and bridge puzzle. The 5 button control panel, the separate reset(?) button and the two levers don't seem to correspond to the clues; one lever and one button, and 5 up 4 down 1 down. I can see that you don't like giving straight answers, preferring to test our thinking, but I really don't know what to do here.

Hello gyippos,
Some clues:
_the South button reinitialize
_ you have three bridge to rise if you want to go East on the bottom level, two if you want to go from North to South on the upper level (but do you know now how to reach the upper level? you have two ways to find)
_ you have only one bridge to pass for the south and north platforms, when the wood barrier rise.
So, test a button then a lever: you will see some bridges movements , depending the button you have pushed before. Each lever acts one way, up or down . If some bridge can't goes up or goes down, you are warned, change the direction of the movement using the other lever or reinitialize. Then, it's a classical puzzle: you have to combine three movements to pass one way. If you can't find any combination, seek for a piece of paper near be with one of the solutions...
Good luck!
Duncan

Hello Duncan,
From your hints, it would seem that I got through the puzzle by trial and error without realizing it. I expected the solution to turn off the force fields around the gems, but these remain intact. So my problem is actually a different one. How do I turn those fields off?

Place one power gem on the first empty pedestal, the second one on the second empty pedestal across from it. And finally the Book on the empty pedestal by the bridges....

RacerX is right. But one field is different, near the commands of the bridges...think about the dogs mosaïc.

i am trying to access the mausoleum under the waste. I can't get the door to open, even though I have put the medallion on the altar many times and killed a lot of ice demons when I have taken it off. Putting the crowern statuettes on there, with or without the medallion, only prodeces more icemen but no action on the door. How do I get it open? I am here because I don't have the book of runes to take back to the bridge puzzle. I haven't seen a dog panel on the floor.
