Grimrock

So far so good. Download successful, but as another mentioned desktop icon is a steam icon.

Played from start and copied some saved games from my Windows all with no problems.

Haven't tried dungeon editor as yet or any custom mods.

Played several hours at level 1 and level 4 & 5 with no problems.

Memory 4 GB 1333 MHz DDR3
Graphics AMD Radeon HD 6970M 1024 MB
Software OS X 10.8.2

Bug.

On Mac Mini with i5 at 2.5Ghz 8Gb RAM ATI Radeon HD 6630M 256Mb.

Starts really fast, enter options and first option says "Nil" (Resolution?), click on save and game crashes.
Unable to open game again, only a litle flash to black and return to steam.

Unable to test gameplay :S

It could be that something has gone wrong with your configuration file. Could you try to rename or delete grimrock.cfg which should be in your "/Library/Application Support/Almost Human/Legend of Grimrock/" folder? This should re-create the configuration from scratch when the game is started again. Let us know how it goes!

Any chance of more steam keys for beta testing? I'm a huge fan.

However, all of the listed keys are taken, it seems.

Would love it if some more keys came out :-p. I have about 5 different mac models I can test on if I can snag a key next time!

You can't copy over the files? Not possible?

@Komag, you're right - one key should be enough to download onto many computers via Steam, but I was too late to the party to grab a key! I was just scrounging a little because (a) over excitement and (b) the AH team are too nice for their own good sometimes. :p.

Call me surprised, I was just in Steam looking at my Mac library of games and there I see Legend of Grimrock. First thought was I hadn't been paying attention and this had been released and tried installing it which happily installs a shortcut but doesn't download anything.

Then I deleted the local content, right clicked on Properties, saw the Beta's tab, selected the mac-beta and got the same results. Then I came here to see what was going on

Great to see that a Mac release isn't too far off. Good luck with the testing.
