Can you make a small change in your tool? When I enter commands in the console I often use ',' and '.' and the bar turns on/off all the time. Can you freeze the bar when the console is active? Of course I can change the key bindings of it, but it would make the tool better.
I also wonder which keys are free for binding on PC and Mac. I made my console key F6 as the tilde (top-left under Esc) and most other Function keys can't be bound on the Mac. To stop quick saving accidently I moved these too to O (save) and L (load). M btw is my Map key.
Btw a new Mac keyboard (mine still has the numeric pad on the right) look likes http://www.zebpedersen.co.uk/wp-content ... oard_3.jpg. A major difference is that PC ctrl = Mac cmd and PC alt = Mac option. Mac doesn't have win keys, but it does have extra ctrl keys. I took me some time to get used to this as a former PC user.
