Have you ever played a mod for Grimrock 1 or 2? Because I assure you, they would be f***ing IMPOSSIBLE to develop efficiently without the console.
Not only modding, but have I really can't imagine playing 40 hours of Skyrim and hitting a "the guy won't go through the door" bug, which basically ends the game unless you use the console to push him through.
Just out of interest though - why does it frustrate you if other people use the console to cheat? Again, I won't cheat myself (I take some sort of weird pride in finishing a game legitimately I guess), but I really don't care if someone else wants to use the console to skip /cheat through some fights because they just about the puzzles / plot in a game... Better than them not playing it, surely, and it doesn't impact your experience one iota.
