Sorry I labeled you an internet troll, that was a bit immature on my part.

But if you have 4 lines of good and over 40 lines of bad, one has to wonder why you are here? Of your 14 posts so far more than half of them focus strongly on the negative. You seem drawn to any hint of negativity about the game in others' posts. Do you just want to argue? I do appreciate that you are at least being (usually) somewhat polite about it.

Of course we are aware that various game reviewers have taken issue with various aspects of the game, that's life. But we're the FANS, we obviously don't share those views or we wouldn't be here devoting a lot of time to these forums, editing, etc. You can't expect us to sit back and intellectually analyze and focus on all the supposed weaknesses of something we love.

I have accidentally over stepped. I have accidentally removed an item from my hand rather than attacked. (Ended up throwing it at the enemy in a panic )
But I didn't blame the game engine, I just goofed on the controls. I found that I was more accident prone when I had played another game for awhile.

My own thoughts on the timed puzzles,
I thought they were great. They go hand in hand with the combat, and help re-enforce the idea that you are not playing a turn based game.
You had to learn that, "Okay, if turning around and walking to get through the passage, I'm going to have to make the trip without turning around and walk through the passage backwards."
And that, I felt to be a great aspect. It's not the game engine you're battling, it's your lateral thinking skills. So, it's a very effective puzzle.

Yet the point is: behind all the icing LoG features the same real-time combat on a grid like Dungeon Master did 25 years ago with YOU being in control. Chars only do what they are told. If you want Hotkeys, feel free to grab a tool like Autohotkeys and program it to your liking.

Oh please! Knowing how to solve a time-based puzzle is not the same as solving the puzzle in time. BTW: since the LoG engine requires quite a bit of computing power time-related stuff can be influenced by a low-spec-system as in every other game that's released nowadays.

The game controls are similar to Dungeon Master or Eye of the Beholder while LoG only features a much larger viewport. In case you played those: did you miss-click there too?

As for WHERE to click: you need to be aware of what you are doing.
As for HOW to click: AH made an update to resolve attack-pickup-mixup's called "Tablet Mode". Check out the Options menu.
As for BUFFERED moving: that's the same as holding down a letter key inside a texteditor. You won't do it there too.
