I started a new game with v2 of the mod, but now I'm stuck again.
After opening the doors and solving the 'abuse the weak' puzzle I'm now in a room with three pressure plates and six demon heads that shoot fireballs at me when I step on the plates. After that room are three gates (which flicker/z-fight btw, may want to fix that), but I can't open them. I looked for secret buttons, looked left and right of the pressure plates to see whether I could find a message or a hint, but no luck. Hint?

I have good news and bad news. My 99% only considered doors.
The bad news is the teleporter got lost somehow:
You need to bring yorself to x=2 y=2
which is crushing as that brings you to an excellent part.
But for the first time ever I have good news. As you got so far, I tested, by playing, personally from your point on to the end.
There are several non game-ending bugs. And one (possibly) critical.
When you hit the scavenger trap. The hidden plate should have been "activate once". I'm pretty sure you will have to skip that.
Other wise, just a mismatching door(the only one I ever made in this dungeon strangely), A sword with the wrong gfx atlas, and something I fixed but now forget.
Please forgive my unbelievably sloppy horribleness. I have learned my lesson and vow rigid playtesting from here on.(Which is kind of funny when I never even planned on making another dungeon before)

Ohmygod, I just realized you downloaded the second version hoping to get a smooth run.
I think it's time I formally apologize for taking an idea you were looking forward to and managing to make it the most cumbersome slow experience you cold be forced through.
Sorry.
Edit: Uploaded and updated. Since now It has in a sense been played beggining to end at least I think this will be the final version.

Hello. I have found what seems to be a bug.
In level 4, at the end of the corridor where you found a note saying "up and down", after defeating an archer, there is a lever and some leather boots on the ground. The game crashes to desktop as soon as I try to equip the boots, with the following error log:
mod_assets/framework/modules/fw.lua:447: attempt to index field 'item' (a nil value)
stack traceback:
mod_assets/framework/modules/fw.lua:447: in function 'onUseItem'
[string "Item.lua"]: in function 'useItem'
[string "CharSheet.lua"]: in function 'slotClicked'
[string "CharSheet.lua"]: in function 'draw'
[string "Gui.lua"]: in function 'draw'
[string "GameMode.lua"]: in function 'update'
[string "Grimrock.lua"]: in function 'display'
[string "Grimrock.lua"]: in main chunk
UPDATE: I have found out that the "bug" occurs with every item as soon as you right-click. Dragging it in inventory seems to work fine.

And how about adding more torches? All was pseudofine (being unable to cast light is really annoying) until I reached the überdark "This is our world" level. Not a single torch. I don't see a thing. This isn't funny.

Sorry but I don't think there is anything I can do for the items. I mean I just laid those boots down, I don't know whats going on. I can look though. As for the light, I have a different view than most I guess, for me the point was conserving light(albeit I forgot to add a single torch at first). I play a lot of (pure) stealth games, try Siren THAT is dark. Dark like every painful dark you have ever not seen. And I liked it, most people hate too much dark in there game. And I understand and admit it may not be the best in grimrock. However I did respond to phitts feedback and included two torches instead of the originaly intended one.

Hi,
I'm stuck :
Stuck at level 5, after the 5x5 room, I opened two rooms but I have another door closed with the lever doing nothing.
There is the abuse the weak thingie, I tried beating the poor dead skeletons there but it doesn't work. Any other meaning I know of the word abuse is something which (thankfully) has no button to activate in the game

So I don't know what to do...

Wow, someone is trying this still... Uh sorry. Yes, that.
You throw rocks at it. I believe I supplied some nearby. (It was the easiest thing to have the game recognize using invisble receptors.

Edit: Also be proud. If you make it through, I believe you would be the first person to actually win. At very least every previous feedback I recieved involved the person giving up. Farthest previously gotten was level six.

Thanks!
But, I have to admit, even if I make it to the end I won't be able to claim the title as I'm cheating (demigod party, plus I spawned a couple extra torches

).

Xanathar I just want to ask. If you win, or have won, there are a few things I would like to know:
1) Did the ending cinematic play? If not I while post the text here.
2) Did you at least enjoy the story/atmosphere? (that could be hard to say if question 1 is no)
3) Did you find the secret hallway on the bottom floor.( To clarify a conversation would have played. This is the only apearance of the foulmouthed fanged man from my story.)
Thanks in advance. Hope you enjoyed it, that would be a first. And oh yeah, I guess lastly, did you equip Levistus Blade?
