They clarified that there USED to be plans for a DLC, which was cancelled on its own but somewhat rolled into doing a full blown sequel.

I hope those environments we saw for the planned DLC will be also implemented into LG2 as they looked great. If not: Please don´t put ´em to waste, instead, release them as custom wallsets for the editor. Us modders / level designers (which I count myself to as I am a donkey at modelling) can´t get enough assets to play with ;-)

Ah, the screenshot looks overwhelming. I hope, that there is more exploration in grimrock 2, even more monster variety, more puzzles which make use of your brain to solve and less timing-based stuff, which was the least enjoying part of grimrock 1 for me - Don´t know how much additional grey hair I got by this! :-D There are so many possibilities to go with by an outside environment... If LoG2 thus gets more non-linear, I would appreciate it! :-)

boss of LoG 3: The pyramid! (that would explain the mummy picture)

LoG 4 will have two-dimensional shape as the boss. He'll only be visible and attackable from two sides at any one time.

LoG 6: 1 Dimensional. It is only a concept. Wait, that would actually be pretty badass...

I do hope they haven't completely scrapped the idea of an explorable overworld.

When you're doing Grimrock 2, please consider adding support for 3D vision.
The effect in Grimrock 1 is *extremely* impressive and in general seems to work exceptionally well with your engine. It's like you're really in the dungeon.
Only, there are glitches with shadows and highlights which somewhat ruin it.
I don't know what it would take to make Grimrock 2 run in 3D mode - but maybe you can check if it's something you can add on the fly.
There are a couple of guys who would be happy ;)
