Thanks for feedback Shaf.
I am always trying to optimize and make scripts simpler as I learn. I am glad it is starting to bear its fruits.
Sure, I will add a rock source, rock snails and stones will do just that. I might add a tool modifier (various quality pickaxes or wood cutting axes, and so on) for gathering, like I did for crafting.
Only one quest now.
I need to finish the saskatwan territory access quest. But first, I have to finish that territory. I worked on respawnable lockpickable destroyable randomized loot chest and doors, for the saskatwan village. This works. I need to add inhabitants that will react to thievery attempts. And I have plans for a prison, that would be a little dungeon in its own right...

I am also working on ruin system: archeology and traps. Just gathering the ideas, but the interest of archeology would be to recover, of course, riches, but also rare items or plans. I plan to include a "item studying" system, where players will be able to destroy an item, to gain knowledge points in crafting them. Some items would now require a minimum kowledge level of the item to be craftable.

So as you can see, I have quite a lot of ideas in the works. I might make an intermediate release this WE, with the saskatwan village system, so players can hon their pickpocketing and lockpicking skills.

V0.12 uploaded.
Not much added. chests will give a lot of craftable materials. Opening a chest by destroying it will give much less components.
Heather gathering will give rocks also, along with killing stone snails.
I added woodcutting axes (craftable). this will allow to chop oak clusters and old oaks (giving a huge lot of small branchs and branchs.
Saskatwan territory is also reachable. A very wip, I only added the respawnable doors and chests. You can gather keys by pickpocketing saskatwans (forgot to make them spawn on their cadavers, silly me :-(). you can also try to open chests thanks to lockpicking (craftable lockpicks).
I was to lazy to add pickaxes and minable stones, it might come in the near future.

V0.12 seems to have problems with the scavenging script, If I select harvesting components it usually crashes but if selecting Nature Ritual everything is fine.

The usual crash is this:

Other things tried gathering rocks only works if using new save file, position of Sask Learning scroll (Quest) has moved from older version. was looking in Central Western area and now has moved.
There are fewer keys on the beach than before and therefore in order to open all the chests a lockpick must be crafted. Not been able to explore new Sask area yet still need to improve reputation.

You can also break the chests open, but it will have far fewer stuffs in them.

Far less crashes while scavenging, I'll test crafting and report back.

"Far less " sounds good, but I am really looking for a no bugs release, please do not hesitate, or if you find weird stuff, or have improvement ideas (like the rocks...).

Crafting appears to be solid, it hasn't crashed in 0.12a.
Going into new area to test but cannot exit and no map available (to be expected for a WIP).
Was able to craft lockpick but when trying to use on chest no message appears.
Suggestion for mining improvements - ability to mine Crystals, Gold, Diamonds Etc. randomly or able to identify proper vein. (Ability as Mining improves)
