- Mode of transfer: Dropbox: Yay
Room size limitation: (9x9 by 3 floors): Yay
Custom Assets: Selecting and loading all custom assets before the round begins: This might be tricky as Neikun pointed out, but I don't mind it either way
As for the custom assets, I think it worked fairly well last time and generally I agree with Neikun.
Alternative solution for custom assets:
Maybe some popular custom assets, like Phitt's Cozy Dungeons, could be added before round begins because it's hard to imagine a dungeon without those cozy bookshelves, now that we have them

and they will be used in numerous rooms. Unique, puzzle related custom assets (Morpheus Mask for example) may be added on the way individually.

If there will be some new round of rooms count me in. Id like to use custom assets definitely. 9x9 size is ok, dropbox fine

Another thing that occurs to me is, if someone wants to show off tileset work, they should be able to do it, but only using relevant assets, and not a whole wallset.

Mode of transfer: Dropbox - yay
Room size limitation: (9x9 by 3 floors) - yay
Custom Assets: Selecting and loading all custom assets before the round begins - yay (I think...)
Theme - nay
If I understand correctly, the motivation behind limiting the custom assets is limiting total file size? Would it be feasible to load some common assets before the round begins, and then impose a limit on how much the file is allowed to grow with each room? E.g. if the file is 20MB before you add your room, then you can't send it back at 30MB. Also, when you say "assets", does that mean everything in the mod_assets folder, including scripts?

Basically, if we want to do a steam release, the .dat needs to be smaller than 100mb.

they seriously need to raise that ancient limit, put it more like 500 or 1GB

I know this game rarely needs more than 300, but then things like Skyrim or games that are more suited for voice acting suffer most.

Adding assets after the fact is probably fine, just let everybody know if you are adding something over a few MB so that we can plan for it.

My yay and nay (i'm slow, i know

)
Dropbox: yay
9x9x3 rooms: yay, though I probably don't need that x3 part
Predefined assets: nay
I most definately can not tell in advance what assets I will need, but I am sure that I need them.
I would like it if we set a max size for 'private' assets. Maybe 75MB / <nr of rooms>? The rest can be used for a commonly used wallset.
Doesn't matter if the fixed size ends up at 1MB, 5MB or 10MB, I'll make it fit.
About a theme: Whatever theme we make up (if any) I'll make it fit into it, except if the theme has unicorns in them.

Okay, you people now need to vote for rainbow unicorns as the theme. Quick before he escapes!!
