Is this at all possible?
I want to make a 3x20 hallway with some 3 length pushable block floor tiles where the block moves back and forth on it's own.
I also wonder if the pushable block can actually crush a player that gets pinned against a wall or if the block moves to occupy the player's tile.
Automatically moving pushable blocks that can crush player.
Re: Automatically moving pushable blocks that can crush play
I've tried this, and it is fraught with bugginess.
What I found was that it is possible to script such that the moving block damages the tile ~killing anything on it, but that under certain circumstances, the monsters can actually step into a tile occupied by a block, and be unaffected (walk right through it); and this also happens (a lot) with Ogre charge attacks.
For the player party only, this should work [game ending death], but there was a reason that this only happened in LoG1 on the ending level with the last enemy.
