BUG: Hit from enemy on different level

I was running from the first OGRE and went up the stairs but didn't move afterwards. 1 second later I got hit and one of my characters dies. Went down the stairs again and the ogre was looging at me. I think he did the running attack on the stairs

It's possibly because he hit you while you were going up the stairs. When you reach the end of the stairs the damage is finally done.
