Is there any real advantage of different weapon types over different monsters or it is just my imagination?
For example, i think when i bash skeleton by mace, it would be more effective, than bashing herder. And vice versa for chopping by axe.
Almost that i read in the first fighting skill description for each weapon, but does it really work?

ive been wondering about this too. traditionally clubs/maces were always alot more effective on skeletons than bladed weapons. any documentation on this? Trying to figure out how to defeat the skeleton phalanx warriors.... that attack as one unit is crushing my group.

Actually- I just beat them. Going toe to toe is suicide. If I kept moving and lobbing fire spells at them, hit them as they move into position and keep kiting them, it made it much easier... tactics FTW...
