Hello, is there any way to transfer save data from a "demo" version to the Steam version?

There isn't a demo out.
If you mean you have a pirated copy, then the saves are stored in your documents regardless of where you procured the game, although it's great that you're actually going to make a purchase.

He probably means a "demo" version. Yes, the save games work as is without needing to transfer them anywhere. Just launch the game from Steam.
