ice guardian and "uggardian"?

okay, forgive me for this dumb discussion topic but
something always bugged me since log!
they have those ice guys
called "ice guardians"
and then they have fire versions of them
called "uggardians"
why did they name them "uggardians" and not just "fire Guardians"?
was it to add more flavor to the world and not just calling them something generic? but then why did they then go with the generic "ice Guardian"
why not somethinf more flavorful like "Freegardian" or something?
laziness?
I suppose it's irrelevant since the player never actually sees what these monsters are called? and then the dungoen author could just put in their own notes and backstory calling these guys whatever they want to call them in their lore?
and seeing as you can name the bosses, you could put an ice guardian boss and have the name "Frosty" displayed.
so did the devs just call it generic "ice Guardian" because it doesn't matter anyway?
it's kind of like they call the "ghoul" just "Undead" instead of a ghoul lol?
