Well, if you're really afraid of picking useless stuff, don't invest points in the armor skill. Getting rid of the evasion penalty is not really worth it. Meanwhile, yes, a barbarian in your front row is always a safe bet because of the huge hp pool. Otherwise though, I won't inform you about what's super awesome and what is not because you can beat the game with silly parties as well, but maybe one more thing to consider is the double lizard setup. I mean, if you frequently have trouble dealing with elemental damage, it's okay even though your back line will need to chug potions a lot in that case, but maybe you'd rather want a friendly minotaur as your throwing guy instead. Double-dips from the extra strength~

Going straight into hard mode on top of ironman is pretty ballsy either way. Good luck~

This was how I played my first session with LoG2 [iron/single], and it was an intense experience.

*But it took me months to complete the game.
