Grimrock

Just tried out the legend of grimrock with the 3D anaglyph settings on my nvidia card (as i dont have the polorised glasses verson) and even though it was just the red/cyan verson it was still amazing. Know when the monsters jump or stab at you? Yea with the glasses and 3D on they really jump out at you lol those parot things gave me a jump twice, first time I met them and the second time when i tried the 3D on.

Sadly I get headaches when looking at any type of 3D but I will still use sometimes in this game as it looks that good. Maybe when meeting new monsters or bosses just to fight them in 3D.

The devs should really get it optomised for 3D(glasses) as it really works well in this game and get it registered at nivdia as a good 3D vision game.

So if you have any type of 3D like nivdia 3D vision you should use it with this game, post here if you have it and tried it.

Out of curiosity, was the game designed for 3D, or are nVidia's drivers up to the job of creating 3D on the fly? I keep thinking about a new monitor and I'm reasonably sure it'll be a 120hz.. which means I'll give 3D a pop.

Lol as someone who does suffer from arachnophobia strangly I don't mind the spiders, only because they don't move like spiders do heh lucky I only thought about using the 3D settings on my card after i got past the spiders bit lol

If your card supports 3D vision download the drivers(they might be included might be included with the latest drivers of your card) and when setting the 3D up choise steroscopic as in the red/cyan instead of the normal polorised 120hz verson then all you need are the red/cyan glasses any will do and in your nvidia control panel turn on stereoscopic 3d on and your red/cyan glasses should work even if your monitor is not 120hz

The card supports it (GTX 580) but the monitor is only 60hz. It'll be 'proper' 3D if and when I change this monitor!

Na it works with red and cyan glasses as well just have to get a pair and turn the correct settings on in your control pannel. It is actual 3D not the best but does work, see if you can find a pair of red/cyan glasses and give it a shot. My monitor is a simple 70hz flat pannel and it works fine on that.
