These guys are some tough dudes. You got to keep moving constantlly when you first meet them on level 5..or they will kick your butt.

The crabs are the first of several of enemies that are simply too powerful to face toe to toe. I needed to perfect the art of kiting in a 2x2 box so that as it moves in line, you can hit it one or two times and then move to safety.

I also saw a useful tip about chain doors which was particularly helpful for rooms with two crabs. Pull chain and as the gate is being raised, hit the crab 2 times or so. Then lower the gate and wait for your attacks to refresh. Repeat.

Yes. I have already used the kiting method you speak of on many occasions. Have not tried the gate method..But that to seems useful.

Every time I hear the word "kiting", I think of Killing Floor and berserkers
