The first earthquake scared the s**t out of me! I legged it back to a nice open, well-lit room until it had finished, (that's in the game, not in my house lol!)
The potion brewing works well enough, but there aren't enough types of potion and it doesn't seem to be explored to its potential. I'm glad it's in though.
I don't miss having to manage Food and Water like in DM and others.
I can't help but compare some of the puzzles/parts of the map to DM - I'm not saying the guys who created this splendid game did copy or were influenced - but I remember seeing the pit junction room in one of the earlier levels and saying 'yep, Corbumite room from CSB', lol! Or 'Supplies for the Quick', or 'theres my first blue haze' (which made me smile a nostalgic smile!).
(so far) no Invisible Pits! And (so far) I like the fact that pits are visible, so you know where they are. I still tense when I hear a faint click in the distance.
I do like the skills tree, I think they afford a good compromise between not being too complex, but still having the choice of how to improve your characters.
Well that's it for now.
